IWF Graduate Fred Rosser / Fred Sampson

Darren Young (aka: Fred Rosser) signed with WWE in May 2009, appeared on NXT Season 1, joined Nexus on RAW, and was part of the Prime Time Players.  Darren was inducted into IWF Hall of Fame Class of 2017 as part of the Federation's 20th Anniversary celebration.  

Darren Young, as BoneCrusher Fred Sampson, began training at IWF Wrestling School in September 2002, and graduated in May 2003.  He is a former two-time IWF Heavyweight Champion, having become the youngest man to ever hold the belt on May 17, 2003.  Won the 2004 IWF Tournament of Champions competition.  Young is a 2003, 2004 and 2006 IWF Commissioner's Cup Tag Team Tournament winner, with three different partners.

  

Prior to joining WWE, Darren appeared in Survivor Series football-themed commercial in Fall 2003, and served as a police detective in a segment with Eddie Guerrero on SmackDown in 2003.  Appeared in WrestleMania XX from Madison Square Garden as a Druid for The Undertaker.  Appeared on an October 2004 edition of Raw from Madison Square Garden as a security guard in a segment with Ric Flair, Batista and Randy Orton.  Served as police officer for Kurt Angle to protect his Olympic Medal.  Wrestled on a March 2005 edition of Velocity in a tag match against Bob Holly and Charlie Haas.  Wrestled on WWE Heat in 2006 and 2007.
