WWE Hall of Famer Tito Santana Returns to IWF August 25, 2019

Updated: Dec 11, 2021

Hello wrestling fans!  IWF Wrestling is so excited to be coming back to Nutley, NJ on August 25, 2019, for our Tournament of Champions XVI.  Tickets can be purchased now at CampIWF.com or at the Nutley Rec Center.

IWF Wrestling is so thankful for all the great wrestlers, managers and legends we’ve been able to work with over the years.  One such legend, who will be competing in the Tournament of Champions, is WWE Hall of Famer Tito Santana!

Tito has had a long and distinguished career in professional wrestling.  Tito is a two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion and two-time WWE Tag Team Champion.  Tito has had many memorable matches and feuds.  One such feud was with Greg “The Hammer” Valentine.  Tito and Greg had some classic battles over the WWE Intercontinental Championship.  The culmination of the feud would come inside a Steel Cage at the Baltimore Arena where Tito would emerge victorious, winning not only the battle but the war.

Tito Santana always fought with pride, honor and passion while in the ring.  I always knew to expect a great match when Tito was on the card.  I got to finally see Tito wrestle in person during our most recent IWF event in April.  Tito wrestled Fifth Element Roman Zachary in a 22-minute wrestling clinic.  It was truly one of the best matches I have witnessed in person.  Tito would again emerge victorious.

I also got to meet Tito for the very first time.  He was kind and approachable.  He was a real pleasure to talk with and it only helped cement the respect I had for him.

I’m excited to see what he will do at the IWF Tournament of Champions.  Don’t miss your chance to be there on August 25!
